What is a Life Group?
A great way to grow in your faith is by attending worship regularly on Sundays and then connecting with a Life Group to discuss what you are learning, for prayer, encouragement, and growth. Jesus modeled this method of discipleship in how he taught in the temple courts (large crowd) and with his disciples (his small group). Acts 5:42 says: “Day after day, in temple courts and from house to house they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.”
Life groups are small gatherings of people, usually in someone’s home, meeting a few times a month to share fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. Each Life Group has its own personality but the main goal is to edify believers by connecting them on a more intimate level and helping them to become more like Jesus.
